I taught physics at Crown Middle School in Los Angeles from 2009 to 2017. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Hua
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hua: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
