Hridoy Emon Ali
22 years teaching economics in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Girls' School
- 1985 to 2009
- English, Bengali
For 24 years I was the economics teacher at Dhaka Girls' School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Hridoy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hridoy: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
