Howard T. Snyder
22 years teaching Spanish in Peoria
- 🇺🇸 Peoria, Illinois, United States
- Peoria Boys' School
- 1988 to 2005
- English
For 17 years I was the Spanish teacher at Peoria Boys' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Howard
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
