I've volunteered with San Diego Community Kitchen from 1993 to 2016. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 8 people now. Everyone brings something.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Howard
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Howard: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
