Oud player and teacher in San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Ensemble
- 1987 to 2018
- English
I play oud and tabla. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Howard
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
