I've spent 19 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Jabalpur University in Jabalpur. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Hossain: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
