I taught Spanish at Chattogram Primary School in Chattogram from 1988 to 2002. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Hossain: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
