Horst Maximilian Engel
32 years teaching biology in Essen
- 🇩🇪 Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Beacon Public School
- 1988 to 2004
- German, English
Beacon Public School was my second home. I taught biology there from 1988 to 2004, mostly Grade 6.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
