I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Horst
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Horst: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
