I'm a hockey coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 780 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Horst
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Horst: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
