I've spent 48 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Berlin Polytechnic in Berlin. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Horst: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
