Horace G. Johnson
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇲 Montego Bay, Saint James, Jamaica
- Montego Bay Works
- 1997 to 2011
- English
I've worked in carpentry from 1997 to 2011. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 550 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Horace
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Horace: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
