  • Soweto Kingsway Ensemble
  • 1987 to 1999
  • English, Spanish
I've played oud from 1987 to 1999, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.

Instruments or styles

OudDrums
What gifts mean to Hlengiwe: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
