Hlengiwe F. Jacobs
Professor of civil engineering, Johannesburg University
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg University
- 1989 to 2014
- English
I taught civil engineering at Johannesburg University from 1989 to 2014, and supervised 45 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I watch every football match going.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Hlengiwe
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
