I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1985 at The Adama Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
