Hitomi Yuna Sakai

Religious studies teacher at Stonebridge Primary School, Since 1990

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Since 1990
  • Japanese
I teach religious studies at Stonebridge Primary School in Shinjuku since 1990. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Hitomi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
