I've been a nurse for nine years, most of them in oncology at Kyoto Maternity Hospital in Kyoto. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
