I taught biology at Elmwood High School in Ahmedabad from 1988 to 2020. Most days I taught Year 9, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,180 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Hitesh: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
