Leatherwork for twelve years in Setagaya
- 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
- Redwood Shop
- 2011 to 2023
- Japanese, English
My trade is leatherwork. I opened my own shop in 2011 in Setagaya and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
More about Hiroshi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Hiroshi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
