Hiroshi Koji Sugawara
Flute and tabla teacher
- 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
- Kyoto Ensemble
- Since 1999
- English
I've played flute since 1999, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Hiroshi
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Hiroshi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at Kyoto Ensemble.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
