Hira Shazia Farooqi
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan
- Gujranwala Trades Guild
- 1981 to 2005
- English
I've worked in tiling from 1981 to 2005. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 960 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 20 years later for another job.
More about Hira
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
