I've coached wrestling at Gateway Sports Club since 2012. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Hira
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Hira: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
