Himari Saki Ohno
31 years teaching English literature in Kawasaki
- 🇯🇵 Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan
- Kawasaki Middle School
- 1990 to 2020
- Japanese
For 30 years I was the English literature teacher at Kawasaki Middle School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Himari
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Himari: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
