I've spent 33 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Nagoya College in Nagoya. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Himari
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Himari: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
