I coached cross country at Los Angeles Jacaranda Sports Club from 2018 to 2025. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.

What gifts mean to Hiền: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
