I coached netball at Fukuoka Athletic Club from 2008 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Hideo
If you played for me, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Hideo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
