Hesti Sri Yuliani
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Highland Trades Guild
- Since 1988
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in upholstery since 1988. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,560 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.

What gifts mean to Hesti: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
