Hesti Mahendra
Weaving for 37 years in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Since 1989
- English, Indonesian
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Jakarta, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Hesti
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Hesti: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
