Heru Slamet Hakim
Retired physical education teacher from Depok Public School
- 🇮🇩 Depok, West Java, Indonesia
- 1982 to 1991
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 210 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Heru
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Heru: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me physical education in 2021 at Depok Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
