18 years teaching biology in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Academy
- Since 1981
- English, French
For 45 years I have been the biology teacher at Jakarta Academy. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Heru
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Heru: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

My kids ask me about my favorite teacher, and it's always you. Greetings from Bahir Dar.
