Heru Muhammad Lestari
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Phoenix Sports Club
- 2001 to 2016
- English, Indonesian
I coached chess at Phoenix Sports Club from 2001 to 2016. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Heru: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
