Herman K. Tolentino
Helping people break into writing
- 🇵🇭 Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines
- Starlight Foundation
- 2001 to 2012
- English, Filipino, French
For eleven years I've mentored people in writing and recovery. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I watch every football match going.
More about Herman
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Herman: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
