I taught history at Riverside High School in Taguig from 1982 to 2016. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.

I'm a journalist now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Miami.
