Henry H. Zimmerman
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇦🇺 Townsville, Queensland, Australia
- Old Townsville Print Workshop
- Since 1980
- English
I got into woodcarving as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Townsville Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Henry
I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 2013. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Magelang.
