Henrique Joaquim Moura
23 years teaching English literature in Caruaru
- 🇧🇷 Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Caruaru Technical College
- 1983 to 2006
- English, Portuguese
I taught English literature at Caruaru Technical College in Caruaru from 1983 to 2006. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Henrique: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
