Henri Robert
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
- Sunrise Shop
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I've worked in thatching from 2017 to 2025. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 320 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Henri: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
