Henk Van Beek
Professor of anthropology, Meadowbank Polytechnic
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Meadowbank Polytechnic
- 2013 to 2024
- Dutch
My subject is anthropology, and for eleven years I got to share it with undergraduates at Meadowbank Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Henk
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Henk: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
