Hendrik Schouten
Painter, potter and teacher at Haarlem Pottery
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Since 1989
- Dutch
I work mostly in jewelry, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1989 at Haarlem Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I fix old bicycles.
More about Hendrik
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Hendrik: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
