Hendrik Niels Huisman
Taught history at Amsterdam Public School
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Public School
- 1985 to 2012
- Dutch
Amsterdam Public School was my second home. I taught history there from 1985 to 2012, mostly Grade 6.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Hendrik
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Hendrik: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
