Hendrik E. Joubert
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Works
- Since 2013
- English, Zulu
I've worked in weaving since 2013. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 570 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
More about Hendrik
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Hendrik: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
