For 43 years I have been the special education teacher at Polokwane Secondary School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Hendrik
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hendrik: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
