I taught computer science at Jakarta Barat Middle School in Jakarta Barat from 1994 to 2021. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Hendra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hendra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me computer science in 2012 at Jakarta Barat Middle School. I still remember the rainy sports day.
