I teach mathematics at Bekasi High School in Bekasi since 1980. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Hendra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hendra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2003 at Bekasi High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
