Hellen Zawadi Simiyu
Drums player and teacher in Dar es Salaam
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Dar es Salaam Choir
- 1980 to 1999
- English
I've played drums from 1980 to 1999, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.

What gifts mean to Hellen: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
