Hellen Upendo Kamau
Tiling for 18 years in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Cedar Grove Workshop
- 1989 to 2007
- English
I've worked in tiling from 1989 to 2007. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,040 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
More about Hellen
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Hellen: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
