Hellen Nakato Mutebi
30 years teaching special education in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- St. Mary's Girls' School
- Since 1987

I teach special education and mathematics at St. Mary's Girls' School, Kasarani. I learn every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Hellen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Hellen: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me special education in 1992 at St. Mary's Girls' School. I still remember that terrible school play.

You taught me special education in 1998 at St. Mary's Girls' School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
