Hellen Kigozi
Mentor in farming and finance
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Sunrise Foundation
- Since 2012
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 770 people through Sunrise Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Hellen
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Hellen: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
