Hellen Adhiambo Simiyu
Taught physics at Dar es Salaam High School
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- 1980 to 2002
- English, Swahili
For 22 years I was the physics teacher at Dar es Salaam High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Hellen
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Hellen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
