Hélène Solène Rodriguez

Environmental science teacher at Ashford Middle School, Since 1989

For 37 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Ashford Middle School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Hélène

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
