For 27 years I have been the English literature teacher at Hillcrest High School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Helene
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Helene: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I'm a accountant now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Tangier.
